Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst

Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid - In office 3 days)

The Accounts Receivable Analyst position is responsible to act as a liaison between internal and external customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may cause deductions and or delays in payments.
Ways you will make a difference
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Ongoing review of the customer Accounts Receivable portfolio and follow up with customers regarding past due payments
  • Prepare and send out invoices
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Post cash receipt exceptions in High Radius
  • Monitor cash which are unapplied
  • Follow up with customers to obtain sufficient remittance advise in order to enhance automation within our High Radius cash application platform
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
  • Proven experience working with and supporting sales teams; strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient experience using key Excel functions, including: V-lookups, pivot tables, pivot charts and conditional formatting

Experiences that will support your success
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with CPG preferred
  • Proficiency with the MS Excel and Office suite
  • SAP Experience is a plus
