Accounts Receivable Associate Job at Mann Lake Ltd
An Accounts Receivable Associate is a professional and kind, customer focused individual that works well with their team and others. This person would have a strong desire to assist our customers through the payment process for declined credit cards and overdue receivables, with the goal of retaining our customers and maintaining our profitability.
What You'll Do:
- Work proactively with other departments to identify and resolve accounts receivable related issues.
- Process and apply payments.
- Perform data entry, copy, file, and retrieve materials for accounts receivable as needed.
- Prioritize and organize work assignment of accounts.
- Correspond via email and telephone to collect on past due accounts, resolve disputes and questions, research misapplied payments and/or other discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service to retain the loyalty of returning customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
You're Right for this Job if you Have:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Ability to operate general office equipment; copier, fax, calculator, phone, computer, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate output in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work regularly and dependably.
- Ability to function in a team environment.
- Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.
