Stauffer Glove & Safety is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivables Representative to join our team in Red Hill, Pennsylvania. This individual must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have exceptional problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Essential Functions

The Accounts Receivables Representative is responsible for collecting on assigned customer accounts. This position requires the candidate to contact the customers’ accounts payable departments while working internally with customer service and sales teams to collect payment on past due balances. The job duties will also include, posting payments, processing credits, and establishing customer relations. This position also requires the representative to assist other members on the team when necessary.

  • Collect past due invoices by contacting delinquent customers for payment
  • Comment on customer accounts to track when payments will be received
  • Process RMAs, credits, and unapplied cash.
  • Prepare and submit monthly consolidated billing
  • Post incoming payments
  • Research and resolve discrepancies on customer accounts
  • Compile customer remittances for daily postings
  • Process credit card charges

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role requires sitting for long periods of time and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, check machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. No travel is required.

  • Frequent use of hands to operate the computer and phone


Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Combined experience of a minimum of 2 years working within a fast-paced business environment and experience working with Microsoft office.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Combined experience of a minimum of 2 years working within the credit/collections field and experience with processing receivables.
