Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Corporate Office - Elk River, MN

The Accounts Receivable Specialist processes client billings, maintains and processes accounts receivable transactions, and performs other office duties as directed. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels.

Description:

• Process Assisted Living, Housing and other misc. billing, payments and reconciliations, including Elderly Waiver and trust liability.
• Process accounts receivable aging reports and resolve account balances with Administrators.
• Communicate with counties and Managed Care Providers to obtain Elderly Waiver service agreements.
• Prepare occupancy/census reports for Housing.
• Maintain Assisted Living billing software with the setup of new transaction and billing codes, annual pricing update and general support to facilities and administration.
• Process various governmental reports and filings (DHS, Managed Care Providers etc.).
• Setup and maintain DHS registrations for new facilities, EW Managed Care Providers, and user access.
• Process annual CRP’s for residents.
• Assist with annual audit support as necessary.
• Provide general support to the accounting department.

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Work experience in an accounting environment preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Excel.
• Organizational skills and demonstrates attention to details required.
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
• Good communication and customer service skills required.
• Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
