Peebles Golf Cars in Chesapeake, VA is looking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant. We are looking for a team player who is eager to join our growing Club Car distribution company in Virginia.
Job Description
General Purpose-
Perform a range of general clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping support functions
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
General administrative assistant functions
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet customers warmly and provide general support to visitors
- Daily invoicing
- Maintains office supplies inventory
- Open and sort incoming correspondence
- Creates and revises systems and procedures
General accounts receivable functions
- Code, post, and receipt payments
- Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
- Perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
General support functions
- Assist in month end reporting procedures
- Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Hourly/Salary pay commensurate with experience. Health Insurance available after 90 days of employment as well as a company sponsored and contributed Simple IRA.
