Description
  • Provide administrative support to the Attendance for Credit program and Truancy program
    director, coordinator, and specialists to ensure that all assigned outreach efforts and
    appointments are scheduled to meet the needs of campuses, departments, and truancy
    courts.
  • Prepare all Dallas County Truancy reports to include Truancy Information System uploads.
  • Prepare Truancy court docket information to include attendance report for every student
    scheduled for morning and afternoon court, documenting student dismissal status, and
    documenting court case payment status from Dallas County report.
  • Respond to all Attendance for Credit Google form requests from campuses related to online
    system access, issues, and updates.
  • Run PowerSchool Attendance for Credit Warning Letter and Intervention Reports as
    scheduled or requested by team members.
  • Order and maintain updated and accurate inventory list of all supplies and materials,
    preparing items for equipment removal and transfer as needed.
  • Manage requisitions and reconciliation process to include but not limited to generation of
    requisitions, verification of funding, maintenance of supporting documents, receipt of
    materials/services, and monitoring of payments.
  • Monitor incoming Parent Attendance Success Initiative, secondary student Wake Up Your
    Mind support calls and general Truancy hotline calls; reset student access as needed for
    Wake Up Your Mind course; troubleshoot technical problems for online truancy prevention measure courses.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Assist with ensuring that the department budgets are maintained within the proper allocation of funds under the guidance of director.
  • Generate reports to track budget expenditures that provide timely updates for budget
    preparation, transfers, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare all materials for trainings and meetings conducted for Attendance for Credit and
    Truancy. Reserve all meeting spaces and set up all virtual meeting platforms.
  • Work efficiently, accurately, and independently through large volume of requests and projects.
Qualifications
  • Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A equivalency) required.
  • Three (3-5) years of directly related experience; school district experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional and office equipment.
  • Efficient in compiling and processing data.
  • Composure to respond effectively to common inquiries or complaints from employees, board members, local businesses, parents or member of the general public.
  • Problem solving/investigative skills to research and respond to inquiries.
  • Knowledge of school and district organization, operations, policies, goals and objectives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency to effectively interact with all levels of district personnel and the public.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.
