This position will provide assistance primarily for the County’s Flood Damage Prevention program and will assist with customer intake of contractor licensing complaints. Job Description:
  • Provide primary administrative support to the Flood Damage Prevention Program within the Building Division of the Planning & Development Services Department. Duties include data entry in the Land Information Management System (LIMS), maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments/coordinating logistics, reserving and setting up conference rooms, may arrange travel as necessary, drafting and preparing documents/reports as requested, and screening incoming calls and emails.
  • Ability to assist Flood Damage Prevention Code Enforcement Officer with flood zone determinations and compliance.
  • Provides customer service for intake of contractor licensing complaints.
  • Screens incoming calls and emails for contractor licensing complaints.
  • Enters complaint information into LIMS and notifies appropriate staff.
  • Provides research and responds to customer inquiries. Works with the Deputy Building Official’s Administrative Specialist II & Contractor Licensing Coordinator as necessary.
  • Run monthly reports on contractors and other requested reports.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years of clerical, secretarial, records research/maintenance, customer service, and computer experience.
  • College coursework from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of college may substitute for one year of experience.

Pay: 17.09 - $21.43
