The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Administrative Support Worker 2 for our Child Health Department.

Job Responsibilities

In a team setting, provide clerical support to process referrals per office None policy, maintain electronic record of referrals and outcomes. Detailed record keeping and organization skills required to provide information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Make initial phone contact with all families referred for services, explain benefits of programs and role played by Public Health. Schedule appointments for group of Child Health professionals. This includes preparing record and any supporting documents needed by professional to complete visit scheduled with family. Access multiple websites to obtain information that is imported into electronic medical record. Enter data into two different Public Health data bases where electronic medical records as well as statistical data is kept and monitored by the State. Responsible for maintenance of any hard copy files kept by professional staff. Maintain materials used to educate families referred to program. Promote Child Health in the community and participate in outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.

In addition to the minimum qualifications above, the following are preferred:
Office/administrative experience working in a medical setting, specifically with children would be preferred. Public Health experience would be a plus.
