Bella Terra is currently looking for an Administrator in Training (AIT). The AIT Program is a full-time, six-month plus program in which the AIT obtains practical on-the-job training in a nursing home under the direction and supervision of an experienced Administrator (preceptor/mentor). Through this program your managerial and problem-solving skills are enhanced plus experience is gained in each job function related to the Administrator position.
These functions include but are not limited to: census development, budget, marketing, nursing home regulations, resident rights, teamwork and other functions that may be assigned by your preceptor.
You will learn overall facility operations to provide the leadership needed to make a building successful clinically and financially. The AIT will be expected to uphold policies pertaining to patient care, financial control and public relations. You will work with multiple Department Heads to ensure the overall success of a building. At the end of your training and after you pass the federal licensure exam you will be placed at a designated building as the acting administrator.
This position requires a bachelors degree, or someone that is actively working towards a bachelors degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
