Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they enter and exit WonderWorks
  • Answer questions and offer information and assistance related to guests' WonderWorks experience
  • Upsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale (S&E, Lasertag, and souvenir books)
  • Run Point of Sale (POS) terminal for ticket sales and efficiently handle cash and all forms of payment
  • Display knowledge of coupons and vouchers received at the POS and track of the ones received
  • Address and inform the manager of all complaints and concerns that occur during shifts. If unable to appropriately resolve, contact Manager on Duty for assistance
  • Maintain work area ensuring that is remains neat and organized at all times
  • Follow checklist for required duties and timelines
  • Read the Admissions pass down log and communicate with previous/future shifts any and all relevant information
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Admissions team
  • Support other team members when needed to keep fellow team members and guests happy and safe!

Additional Skills & Abilities:

  • Possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable approaching people that you do not know, and engage them in conversation
  • Be comfortable working indoors and standing for long periods of time

Minimum requirements: Previous theme park, entertainment, hospitality, and/or customer service experience is preferred. Ability to multi-task, work with limited supervision and make reasonable and ethical decisions quickly. On-the-job training is provided upon joining, and night, holiday, and weekend availability is needed, too.

While performing the duties of this job, an employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift from 10 pounds up to 50+ pounds.
