Job Description:

La Belle Medical Spa is a full-service Medical Spa looking to fill a part-time opening for an Aesthetician in Merced, CA. The perfect candidate should be committed to excellence, be a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a polished professional attitude with a passion for aesthetics.

A minimum of two years of experience is required. Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running.

**This position offers a generous commission-based opportunity for the right candidate looking to grow with La Belle Medical Spa.

The aesthetician is responsible for performing La Belles non-invasive treatments such as facials, peels, and skin tightening treatments for which they are legally qualified in a safe and effective manner. The aesthetician will also perform skin health assessments and provide treatment and product recommendations.

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Capabilities:

• Ability to quickly learn La Belle products and services and be able to learn new products, techniques and/or equipment as they are obtained.
• Conduct consultations with each patient to determine their needs and recommend products and services that will help them achieve their desired outcome.
• Perform non-invasive treatments such as chemical peels, facials, HydraFacial, Coolsculpting and other body tightening and contouring treatments
• Promote the benefits of all La Belle products and services
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for treatments and procedures
• Conduct patients follow up calls and return patient calls in a timely manner
• Safeguard client information and confidentiality
• Have the presence of mind to deal difficult patients
• Must be able to maintain federal requirements of a medical office, such as HIPAA, etc
• Skill in establishing and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through with a solutions
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient and employee information • Effectively educate patients on our product lines
• Create at home skin care regimens for patients
• Record treatments in EMR

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the State of California as an Aesthetician in good standing.
• Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of excellent customer service
• Possess problem-solving and organizational skills

A minimum of 3 years of experience with the following:

• Facials, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Various laser procedures, including, skin rejuvenation
• Knowledge of skin and skin care products
• Maintaining and proper cleaning of equipment
• Documentation of charting in the medical record or online medical record programs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $43.39 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
