Being a Home Care RN with Johns Hopkins Home Care Group is an unique opportunity to work in a collaborative culture at an agency with a 5 star patient satisfaction rating. You will have the autonomy to make individualize patient-centered decisions utilizing your critical thinking skills to prevent hospitalizations and promote patient’s recovery and healing at home.

The management team will be your advocate, helping to remove any barriers you may face. You are never alone as our management team will be your champion to promote your professional development and ensure your safety.

Delivers safe, therapeutic patient care through use of the nursing process. Provides ongoing, skilled infusion services to a group of patients with guidance from the interdisciplinary team and under the direction of nursing leadership. Provides complete holistic assessments for patients with focused assessments involving IV access care, therapy specific clinical guidelines, patient specific nursing treatments and education for both the patient and family. Employs the concepts of evidence-based practice and an interdisciplinary approach in all aspects of a patient's plan of care. Complies with all Johns Hopkins Home Care Group policies and procedures and maintains practice within the Maryland Nurse Practice Act.

Education:

• BSN required or matriculating to a BSN degree or higher within 2 years of hire.
• Mid-line Certification preferred.

Required Licensure:

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of Maryland.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Maryland State driver's license and agreement to comply with Maryland Seat Belt Law.
• Current auto insurance.
