Job Description
Full-Time Anesthesiologist positions available at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA within the Beth Israel Lahey Health system. Anna Jaques Hospital is a 120-bed community hospital located 40 miles north of Boston. We provide obstetrical anesthesia for over 700 deliveries annually with 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage. Our anesthesia clinicians handle, on average, 9,000 cases per year. Anna Jaques joined the New England Baptist Orthopedic Program on December 11, 2019. This initiative strengthened our already robust total joint-replacement program by providing standardized protocols from pre-op to post-discharge. The other types of services provided include: obstetrics and women’s health, breast cancer, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, ENT, general surgery, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, pain management, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, pulmonary, thoracic, thyroid, urology, vascular and weight loss surgery.
Skills & Requirements:

Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Ultrasound guided regional blocks experience needed.

Works collaboratively with all APHMFP Staff.

Creativity and ingenuity are valued but adherence to established practice guidelines as set by governing boards is mandatory.

Board certified or board eligible.
