Location: Our hospital is located in Absecon, NJ which is a convenient 45-60 minute commute from Philadelphia and only 10 minute drive to the Jersey Shore.

Position: Full or part-time work schedule, competitive salary, paid sick leave, and veterinary discounts will be provided to the right candidate.

The successful candidate will report to the Inventory Facilities Manager.

Some of the job responsibilities of the Kennel Staff include:

• Ensuring all cats in kennel have fresh water, scheduled feedings, a clean litterbox and blankets
• Ensuring all dogs in kennel have fresh water, scheduled feedings, and clean blankets
• Walking all dogs in kennel outside, cleaning kennel runs and cages, outdoor poop cleanup
• Ensuring all cages are locked, windows are closed, and lights are off at end of shift
• Clean dishes using dishwasher
• Laundry (put soiled linens in washer/dryer, fold and restock linens, etc.)
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
• Emptying trash and recyclables
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking bathroom items (toilet paper and paper towels)

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with cleaning materials and working with and around animals

Physical Requirements: This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time. It requires routine lifting. You must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
