JOB SUMMARY
An established services company located in Shrewsbury, MA is actively seeking an AP Specialist for an immediate opening. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the AP Specialist will be responsible for high volume invoice processing and tracking credit card payments. The AP Specialist will perform the following -
Responsibilities:
- Tracking subcontractor compliance, signed certificate of insurance, 1099 documents
- Responding to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor invoices
- Working in conjunction with warehouse and project management for approvals and supporting documentation for invoices
- Producing cash disbursement requirements weekly
- Ability to process a high volume of invoices weekly
- Tracking of credit card payments
- Assigning invoices to responsible approver
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a Billing/Finance or Accounting environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Advanced Excel applications
Compensation Package: Up to $26/hr depending on experience
