About the Job

The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical solutions on customers’ sites using iAI’s proprietary technologies. This includes deploying hardware and software, collecting and analyzing data, and providing customers with solutions based on data analytics. The Application Engineer will also work with the product development team as the channel to the customer to provide feedback for product improvements.

Location: Mt Pleasant, WI - and - Milwaukee, WI


Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate technical problems, reproduce issues as required, and communicate with development teams to resolve customer issues, in a timely manner with a positive outcome.
  • Collaborate with UPR IT teams to support business requirements.
  • Provide and execute detailed test plans & conduct system testing.
  • Define and manage projects, timelines, deliverables, and communication with the customer.
  • Analyze and document existing software solutions.
  • Data collection and data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields required.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to a production environment.
  • At least 25% Travel is required for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Strong industrial engineering background preferred.
  • Experienced with process improvement using novel technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in the design, development, and launch of systems.
  • Basic networking skills.
  • Work within a diverse workforce and customer base with strong collaborative and respectful people skills.
  • Light lifting (20-50 pounds), office, and production environment.
