The IT Department is growing at Liberty Resources. We are currently searching for an Application Support Specialist.

Essential Functions
1. Develops training course curriculum and materials. Coordinate with programs and prepare training materials, documentation, and technical reports for staff/end users.
2. Works collaboratively with Human Resources with onboarding new hires and ensuring those hires have been oriented and trained in the applications and IT tools necessary to succeed in their positions.
3. Plans, schedules, and conducts training classes and demonstrations for program staff on various software and system applications. Instructs staff in the process for optimal usage of software applications.
4. Responds to staff/user questions, performs second-level troubleshooting on applications and systems and provides diagnostic analysis; implements and/or recommends corrective actions for users with existing and new applications.
5. Develops and maintains standards for user documentation and systems applications.
6. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) across each technology stack to identify pain points or areas of improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for providing staff/user training, support, systems and software recommendations and assistance with department and/or program projects.
2. In collaboration with program directors, determines training objectives and requirements, develops curriculum, prepares and designs training materials, reference guides, “cheat sheets”, and user manuals.
3. Defines user software and application requirements; makes recommendations for changes and enhancements to applications to meet end users’ and Agency business needs.
4. Assists in coordinating activities with IT, Data Reporting, and HIT help desks.
5. Participates in group problem solving activities to promote continual business process improvements and initiatives.
6. Assists with enterprise application related projects; designs implementation procedures and processes, develops documentation for new technology and applications.
7. Stays current, continually learns and applies emerging technologies, as necessary, to perform duties in an efficient, organized and timely manner.
8. Identify and report on Untoward Incidents as required.
9. Carry out agency policies and procedures.
10. Perform other duties, responsibilities and related tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience
1. Associate degree and/or specialized training and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support or technical education is required.
2. Solid verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric attitude. Ability to train and coach end users and stakeholders.
3. Requires experience and expertise using and supporting Microsoft and other 3rd party software.
4. Experience supporting Office 365, third party web parts and applications such as SharePoint is highly preferred.

2. Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner.
3. Requires experience and expertise using and supporting Microsoft and other 3rd party software.
4. Experience supporting Office 365, third party web parts and applications such as SharePoint is highly preferred.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, active directory, Windows applications, and/or other enterprise level business applications.
6. Understanding of the principles and practices of training program development, management, implementation, review, analysis, and evaluation.
7. Knowledge of the basic principles and practices used in operations, maintenance, administration, and recovery of network operating systems, personal computer hardware, and related software applications.
8. Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner to meet priorities and deadlines.
9. Willing to travel to satellite offices within a 2-hour radius for in-person trainings as needed.
