AR Accounting Analyst Job at Republic National Distributing Company
Overview:
The AR Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the reconciliation between the Gl, sub-ledgers and bank statements, which supports critical business operations between Trade AR and Accounting, in such a way as to meet and exceed the companys objectives by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Verifies, participates, and controls the posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger. Reviews entries to the ledger to assure accuracy.
Performs cash reconciliation monthly. Verifies all deposits, withdrawals, and wire transfers. Addresses questions and problems from banking institutions.
Performs account analysis and reconciliation.
Reconciles daily cash flow to monthly bank statements. Reviews daily cash bank reports and analyzes as required.
Assests Trade AR Mgmt. with year-end audit.
Prepares financial and statistical reports as required. Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as directed.
Work with GL Accounting to ensure above account(s) tie to the GL.
Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from a four year college or university or equivalent preferred; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. We are an Equal Opportunity employer.
