AR Customer Dispute Specialist Job at Keystone Staffing
The Accounts Receivable Customer Dispute Specialist reports to the Controller. This position requires confidentiality in all aspects and attention to detail as accuracy is critical. The position will also require taking initiative as a self- starter. As experience and skill set advance, the position will require independent decisions based upon judgment and experience to complete the job duties listed below.
Responsibilities
· Download daily lock box deposits
· Oversee domestic cash receipts including follow-up to determine if customer deductions are authorized
· Dispute unauthorized deductions with the goal of recovery
· On an as needed basis, contact delinquent customer accounts to pursue payment with always a “customer first” attitude
· Various accounting projects as assigned
Requirements
· 3+ years’ experience required with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
· Knowledge of fundamental doctrines, theories, principles, and terminology of accountancy
· Ability to keep all work confidential and keep the supervisor informed on any key issue
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and typical modern day financial software platforms
· Working knowledge of Great Plains and Customer Web Portals a plus
· Thorough understanding of A/R practices and procedures
· General ledger working knowledge
· Ability to accept new tasks with little direction
· Organizational skills
· Efficient worker

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
· Detail-oriented
· Regular and reliable attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
