Looking for an Art Director. The Art Director may work remotely in this position.

This agency works with clients to promote positive social and environmental actions. Their focus is on motivating people to make decisions that improve the world around them, whether it's through using energy-efficient appliances, applying for college programs, or taking public transit.

Job Responsibilities:

They are looking for seasoned, visionary, creative forces to support their creative team in shaping audience experiences in all current and emerging media. You’ll implement creative deliverables on projects from brief to concepting, to client presentation and final build. You thrive in a close team environment and love mentoring junior level team members to bring a concept to life. With the proven ability to create award-winning work, the Art Director is a thinker, problem solver, and has mastery of creative concepts and ideas.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience in senior design and art direction, preferably in an agency setting.

• Highly conceptual across multiple platforms, while creating original work.

• Master of layout, typography, illustration and photography sourcing, and both print and digital production principles.

• Demonstrates expertise with design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign as well as Microsoft PowerPoint for client deck creation.

• Understands technical possibilities and limitations of front-end web development. Adobe XD and Figma experience a plus.

• Experience with illustrating, animation is a plus.

• Can iterate quickly and step in on production-level tasks if needed. No egos.

• Highly adaptable with a keen ability to read the room, lead the room and build consensus.

• Ability to evaluate creative work from both a strategic and executional perspective.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude with team members and clients in stressful situations.

• Excellent organization skills with the ability to work and adapt in a rapidly moving environment.

• Your portfolio should demonstrate your proficiency in crafting emotionally resonant campaigns.
