• Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 /hr

ESSENTIAL POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides procedure scheduling coordination and patient registration for the Ambulatory Surgery Center to ensure a smooth experience for the patient. This position coordinates the capture of demographic and financial information to obtain insurance authorization and patient financial responsibility.

FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications

High school diploma or GED.

Skills/Knowledge/Ability

40 wpm typing

Knowledge of basic computer and math skills.

Demonstrated critical thinking ability in order to resolve problems and carry out instructions.

Ability to multi task.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills presented in an effective, clear, calm, friendly and professional manner.

Ability to effectively communicate to all internal and external customers.

Manages tasks in a timely fashion.

Ability to read and interpret documents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous cardiology procedure scheduling experience preferred.

One year of cash handling experience preferred.
