Summary: This position assembles and fabricates industrial ovens.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time:

  • Promote and provide a “World Class Customer Experience” when interacting and working with customers, visitors, fellow colleagues, potential employees, business partners, sales representatives, and vendors.
  • Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
  • Perform some welding work, including MIG and TIG, or be willing to learn how to weld.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, working with a variety of mild steel, stainless steel, structural angle, channel, and tubing.
  • Set up, fit, and position weldments, having a number of parts.
  • Develop working relationships with Engineering and other departments to address and resolve issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
  • Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Complete special projects, as assigned
Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. While some experience is preferred we are always willing to train candidates who have a great attitude, mechanical aptitude and who are eager to learn!



Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical specifications/ blueprints. Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to read tape measures, and do basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.


Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems.

Other Skills/Abilities: Motivated and organized; Team player with a positive attitude. Must be willing work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.

The heavier lifts are required to use team lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee frequently uses hand tools, some power tools, tape measure, T-square, and other miscellaneous tools.


Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
