Assembly/Production

Certified Slings & Supply, Florida's largest family-owned rigging contractor and industrial supply company is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to learn production and fabrication of our small wire rope assemblies and synthetic rope splicing. We have four locations in central Florida and this position is currently located in Casselberry, Florida.

This position will manufacture small, assorted sling assemblies made from wire rope and other parts. The assemblies vary in size, length, and hardware to accommodate the customer's needs. This position works in an indoor shop with no heat and no air conditioning. This position requires the ability to lift to 40 lbs. occasionally, work with small machinery, hand tools. Must be good at using a tape measure and requires basic math skills.

Previous warehouse and production experience preferred but not required, we will train if you are willing to learn. Should have experience working with your hands, with small manipulation of items using your hands and fingers. This position stands 50%-60% of the time and some machine work allows you to sit also up to 50%-60% of your 8-hour work shift. Occasional overtime may be available as work orders demand.

This position is temporary to permanent. You will initially be hired through our temporary staffing partner and then converted to permanent after you complete 90 days (520 hours) with acceptable performance.
