Assembly Technicians are mainly responsible for the assembly and packaging of product for the cell they are assigned. These activities must be performed safely and with quality in mind. This position requires the use of hand tools, assembly equipment and the ability to follow production schedules. All employees at KI are expected to participate in continuous improvement activities as well.

This is an entry level position. Qualified candidates should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, be motivated to attend work regularly, have an interest in personal development/growth, be able to work well with others in a team environment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Ability to inspect product to ensure it meets customer satisfaction.
• Ability to pack and scan out complete orders.
• Ability to read and interpret shop orders
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction
• Stand 8 + hours daily and ability to lift 20-30 lbs repeatedly
• Above average attention to detail
• Ability to use a glue gun, staple gun, operate air tools and C-jex
• Must be able to scan and stage orders on shipping dock correctly

This is a first shift position. Hours are primarily 5am-1pm Monday - Friday with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

Qualified candidates will be highly motivated and inquisitive team players. Successful completion of a drug screen will be required.
