Assistant - Brainerd Job at Greater Minnesota Family Services
PART-TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT at our SEED Program in Brainerd:
Job Activities: It begins by being a member of one of our self-managed teams. Teams are a core part of our GMFS culture. Your services will be at a nice, welcoming Early Childhood site assisting the children with activities under the direction of the Therapist. Other activities will include the safe and efficient pick-up and delivery of children participating in our programs, the safe operation and maintenance of the vehicles being used as appropriate. We encourage people to be active in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma, must have a valid Driver's License. The schedule for this position is Part-time. Schedule will be Monday through Wednesday 8:00a-4:00pm, minimum of 24 hours per week.
Experience: At least three years driving experience, with minimal to no traffic violations. Educational background or experience working with young children 3-5 years of age preferred.
Skills & Knowledge: Must be able to navigate through communities in which we are operating safely and efficient. Ability to program a GPS or read maps accordingly to find correct locations for pick-up and drop off. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure safe operation at all times.
