We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who strives to deliver high-quality leadership and motivates our staff to provide excellent customer service. A basic understanding of front of house service standards and back of house workflow are needed to be a leader in our company.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Oversee the opening and/or closing of the restaurant each day
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ensure food quality and presentation is upheld
  • Work with other managers and owners on making sure any equipment and maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manager
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1 year managerial experience in a restaurant setting
  • At least 4 years restaurant experience
  • Skilled problem solving and guest management
  • Understanding of basic restaurant financial operations such as creating deposits, closing end of day on POS, updating and counting inventory
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software platforms such as: POS systems, scheduling platform, wait lists and inventory management.
  • Proficient in creating and using excel spreadsheets, calendar invites, word documents and email
  • Scheduling and making shift adjustments to meet labor goals
  • Experienced in ordering food, beverage and operational supplies to accommodate restaurant volume

  • To work professionally under pressure
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Title IV Liquor Certification (FOH & Management)
  • Maintain a high level of energy for the duration of a shift

Pay: $50000 - $60000 / year
