Assistant Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Assistant Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating scheduling, appointment-setting and other administrative activities for the Company. The Assistant Logistics Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all service requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinating, confirming appointments and implementing service technician scheduling
  • Performing data entry of loading jobs for technicians
  • Coordinating necessary paperwork with managers
  • Providing quality service to external and internal clients
  • Performing miscellaneous administrative duties including typing, filing, copying, and answering phones
  • Operating personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
  • Exercising administrative judgment; assuming responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Two or more years Customer Service experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Excellent organization skills

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
