Role Overview

Van Cleef & Arpels is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Retail Operations team. This position is fundamental in developing retail analysis reports, taking active part in the SAP project and boutique actions plans, as well as executing regional and market meetings in conjunction with Operations Managers and with all the corporate team. Coordinates the agenda, plans, and assists with the logistics.

The position is based in New York and reports to the Manager of Retail Performance


Responsibilities

  • Develops retail analysis reports and comments: Monthly projections, weekly analysis, Monthly competitors’ analysis, Sales flash, Traffic, Sales associate ranking, Evolution of Sales
  • Takes active part in the SAP project; coordinates testing of SAP new functions, train key users & leads boutique staff training.
  • Selects vendors for service supplies in the boutiques, develops and runs a comprehensive supply model stock, monitors invoicing with Finance dept. and procurement manager. Train the administrators.
  • Orders boutique supplies developed by Central; liaises with Supply Chain, Communication, Visual Merchandising & boutique administrators.
  • Execute the implementation of RNA and VCA policies in conjunction with Operations Manager, and with VCA Central and RNA teams.
  • Monitors & reports discount sales, in partnership with the Finance Department
  • Updates & maintains accuracy of all retail contact information. Including staff schedule, events calendar
  • Runs employee purchases
  • Supports the boutique events and store openings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of related experience
  • SAP, Office, Excel business professional proficiency
  • Analytical skills
  • Team player: ability to interact with difference departments, and with boutique members
  • Sensitivity for luxury & attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility to travel
