Elements Massage in Swampscott is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive Assistant Sales and Operations Manager who is a self-starter with strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years of sales and customer service experience, preferably in the health and wellness industry. The Assistant Sales and Operations Manager will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the studio staff to ensure our elevated level of standards. In addition to daily operational responsibilities, this position will strive to meet established studio goals and objectives in the areas of member growth, staffing levels including low turnover levels, recruiting, and hiring objectives, and ensure a flawless experience for anyone who enters the studio, both team members and clients.

The primary Qualifications and Requirements of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Retail sales experience preferably in a massage studio, salon, spa environment
• Customer service skills
• A passion for people and sales
• Elevated level of enthusiasm
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy
• Administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling, inventory, and reporting
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends
• Previous experience developing staff preferred
• A collaborative philosophy and leadership style

Minimum Job Requirements

• 2 years Management/leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and social media platforms
• Flexible work schedule and the ability to work 40 hours per week
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Job Requirements

• Experience with Mindbodyonline scheduling software
• Experience with Constant Contact a plus
