ASSISTANT MECHANIC
(FULL-TIME)
FAIRVIEW BOROUGH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (Bergen).
Seeks responsible Mechanic to join an organization that values service, safety, and teamwork. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various Borough vehicles and equipment.
Candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years' mechanic exp., ability to work under adverse weather conditions, a Class A CDL, and tools.
Applicant must have excellent customer services skills, be competent in following written and oral directions, be available for overtime and be able to work independently as well as with co-workers. Compulsory background check, physical, drug, and alcohol test, and driver's license check.
