Assistant Operations Manager - NY, NJ, PA area


Position type and expected hours of work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are demand based. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Summary: Assist the Operations Manager with the supervision and scheduling of the Facility Operators, Mechanics, and Laborers, safety compliance.

Essential functions:

  • Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with tracking all preventative maintenance and repairs for the equipment, building and ancillary assets. Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Performs roles of the Equipment Operator and Mechanic, as needed.
  • Assist with the environmental and safety compliance.
  • Must have a complete understanding of all facility equipment and processing hardware.
  • Tracking of compliance items, such as confined space entry logs on job by job basis.
  • Assist with Health & Safety protocols and implementation.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors (verbally, via telephone and email).
  • Administrative tasks (may include): invoicing, creating spreadsheets and graphs, assisting with presentations, quantity tracking, P&L tracking and general office organizational management.
  • Additional responsibilities will be added by your direct supervisor as you progress in the position.

Work Environment
: This position requires the ability to function in an office environment as well as the Company’s environment including outdoor weather conditions.


Travel
: travel is expected for this position 3-4 days per week
