Position Title: Assistant Purchasing Agent
Department: Front Office
Reports To: Materials Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists and supports the Materials Manger as needed.
Salary Range
$24.75 - $28.50 Hour DOE
HOURS
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
CATAGORIES OF DUTIES
- Performs general clerical assistance as needed, including copying, filing, and submitting invoices to fiscal.
- Assists in reviewing, pricing, and ordering of supplies.
- Assists with tracking of orders, gathering information on items requiring purchase and responding to general customer service questions related to specifications of purchased items.
- Prepares and facilitates the pickup/delivery of PPE items to departments.
- Provides support with receiving deliveries and exchanging of damaged items.
- Serves as back up for Materials Manager.
- Keeps warehouse organized and clear of obstructions.
- Assists with delivery of packages for Central and 6005 Yolanda.
- Other duties as assigned by Materials Manager, Director, or Administration.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
One (1) year of General Office experience preferred; experience working with public; experience working with A/P and A/R, computer knowledge, bi-lingual helpful.
