POSITION OFFERED: Assistant Registrar

EMPLOYMENT DATE: ASAP

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Renewable, Full-Time, 12-Months

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists the Registrar with coordination of the operations of the Academic Records office, including management of student records and student transcript services. Assists with the review and evaluation of transfer credit and maintenance of articulation information. Responsible for routine file submissions to the National Student Clearinghouse. Assists with the maintenance of and annual updates to degree auditing software and assists with graduation audits. Performs other duties as assigned by the Registrar. This position is within the PAA Union.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree; five years of experience in a higher education setting. Familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree; experience with Degree Works use and system updates/maintenance; experience at a community college; experience with student record keeping; experience with transfer credit articulation.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50,262 - $62,827 Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirement benefit options with a choice of a pension or generous matches to 414H, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with 16 holidays, 20 vacation and 12 sick days per year along with tuition assistance in addition to other benefits offered by the College.
