How would you like to work right by the Gulf of Mexico with a dynamic and expanding team? At Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa, we are seeking a self-motivated, team player with proven service-oriented experience to join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. This person will help run our high-volume dining outlets during all shifts (The resort is open year-round including all holidays).
This is an exceptional opportunity, supporting the creation and delivery of memorable dining experiences for our guests, and continually maximizing our quality of service, while helping our team members reach their full potential.
With two new concept restaurants launching this year, we are excited for the opportunities to come, and are looking for dynamic managers to assist!
** The starting salary is negotiable depending on experience**
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma
- At least 3 years of current restaurant management experience
- MUST be able to work all shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior work as a manager or supervisor essential
- Proven success in customer service
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Training in food safety (must have current Serve Safe Certification)
- Beer, Wine and Spirits knowledge
- Financial literacy
- Ability to keep inventory organized
- Scheduling knowledge
- Team-oriented, able to coach and mentor staff
- Ability to deliver consistent, friendly, sincere & knowledgeable service
- Empower team members to make decisions, taking action to enhance our guests' experience
- Be accountable for actions and collectively for the success of the organization
- Drive teamwork to achieve the common goals of the organization
Prospective candidates must have experience in efficiently managing all aspects of day-to-day restaurant work. They should be comfortable assisting in the kitchen or waiting tables should a busy day require it. Those who have previously excelled in other restaurant jobs, will know how to hire, train and retain staff to work under them, while supporting others to not only meet, but strive to maximize our high standards of service and safety.
