We are seeking a mover and shaker to be an Assistant Store Manager at a busy store in Hastings!
Summary of the Assistant Store Manager position:

2nd shift: 2:30 - 10 PM and will work every other weekend (45 hours/week)
*
Pay is $16/hour
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will contribute to the store's success by helping to lead a team to create and maintain an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE for guests. Essentially, you will be assisting in running a small business with a solid company behind you. Your time will be spent coaching and supervising and directing a team while ensuring world-class guest service. As a working Assistant Store Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to ensure guest satisfaction.
What Will You Do

Oversee daily store operations, supervise employees and manage inventory
*
Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet the needs of guests
*
Demonstrate leadership and promote a teamwork oriented environment setting high standards and modeling behavior for optimum guest service
*
Work with the Store Manager to promote new product lines
*
Perform daily paperwork, balance drawers, deposits and count change back
*
Maintain safety and security of the store and properly documenting any incidents that occur
*
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws within the scope of the store operation
Are You Ready The Assistant Store Manager role requires the following:

Prior successful retail, food service or management experience
*
Demonstrated effective training, coaching and conflict resolution skills
*
Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
*
Results oriented team player/manager
*
Ability to work flexible work schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call
*
Strong communication skills
*
Excellent guest services skills
