Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is second in command of boutique and all related processes in order to deliver the Wolford experience and achieve sales targets. Primary responsibilities include: Sales Generation, Staff Management, Operations and Visual Presentation.

Sales Generation
  • Assist manager in analyzing sales results and provide Action Plan with KPI achievement strategy
  • Implement and execute appropriate Clienteling programs, CRM, and corporate customer initiatives
  • Plan and execute marketing activities in conjunction with directives
  • Identify key areas within the market for new business development opportunities, including partnering with corporate PR / Marketing team and with Mall Management or BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) to enhance market awareness
Staff Management
  • First point of contact in absence of store manager
  • Effectively communicate with staff on performance accomplishments and/or feedback
  • Help develop team members through ongoing and annual appraisal by evaluating and monitoring individual monthly sales goals, KPIs, operations, and customer service
  • Ensure effective processes and guidelines (operations, HR issues, financial issues, health and safety) as set by the company or federal, state, or local law
Operations
  • Execute an excellent customer feedback management program according to company and regional guidelines
  • Execution of stock control and filing of stock data in order to minimize stock losses
  • Support retail team in building the right assortment for the boutique
  • Monitor, analyze, and inventory needs
  • Cash Handling- ensure money taken balances with information given by the POS system on a daily basis, and justify and correct any discrepancy
  • Enforce LP guidelines
  • Assist with semi-annual inventory and rectify any discrepancies
  • Open & closing key holding responsibilities
  • Maintain company standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure execution of excellent visual merchandising according to seasonal collections and company visual guidelines
  • Maintain sales floor, fixtures, products, packaging, and back stock areas
  • Attend sales / training meetings and ensure all staff members are fully trained in operational, product knowledge, and sales and customer service standards
  • Monitor all store equipment regularly to ensure safety
