Associate
Consultant to join our
Connected
Communications service line. The Associate Consultant works closely with an assigned Project Manager and becomes a fully integrated member into project teams in their first couple months of employment. The combination of on-the-job learning, classroom training, and ongoing coaching and mentoring enable Associate Consultants to enjoy outstanding professional growth and career opportunities. What You'll Do
- Apply logic and Spur methodologies to provide recommendations to clients
- Use and develop communication skills to communicate project findings, conclusions and recommendations with your peers and clients
- Develop high quality drafts of communication from emails to executive presentations.
- Participate in client meetings to review and present analytical approaches and interpret results
- Work independently or closely with client and team members to accomplish daily tasks
- Provide project support and complete administrative tasks
- Strategic thinking – Able to research and gather data to support strategic discussion
- Ideation – Able to participate in and capture ideas in ideation meetings
- Intuition – With guidance, able to identify required tasks or issues and know when to ask clarifying questions
- Analytical thinking – Able to approach problems in a systematic way by defining, organizing, analyzing large amounts of information
- People acumen – With guidance and support, able to interact with people at all levels in a variety of situations
- Judgment – Able to take appropriate action and make decisions using logic and available resources to drive activities
- Organization – With guidance, able to manage and coordinate work streams
- Adaptability – With guidance, able to deal with ambiguity and changing roles or tasks and still drive work products to completion
- Visual acuity – Able to take words and concepts and, with guidance, create visuals
- Communication – Able to draft basic client correspondence, listen, ask appropriate questions and, with guidance, know which method of communication is appropriate
- Leadership – Able to work collaboratively with other team members and motivate self to deliver results
- A Bachelor’s degree with solid academic achievement and or significant relevant work experience
- Coursework in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, journalism, or communications is a strong plus
- Experience with Microsoft suite of productivity tools required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Good business acumen and awareness of business trends
- Quantitative skills and general problem-solving skills for business problems
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
Spur Reply (Formerly The Spur Group) is a consulting firm based in Bellevue, WA. In our hybrid working environment, our general working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday. While we strive for work/life harmony, client work may extend beyond these hours and may require flexibility in work arrangements.
The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $50,000-$60,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
