Reports To: Team Leader Customer Strategic Planning
Hours/Week: If Full Time, 40 hrs; if still enrolled for semester 20-30 hours
Role Summary
The Co-Op in Customer Strategic Planning supports the SBU team in linking the Brand strategies and plans to the Church and Dwight Field Sales employees. The Co-Op supports the CSP Managers within the SBU as they work directly with field sales for an end-to-end plan to manage net sales, trade spending and profitability across all classes of trade within the assigned strategic business unit portfolio of products. The opportunity exists for the co-op to directly own aspects of this link with field sales if strong performance is exhibited.
Co-Op Participates in the below Key Business Goals
  • Executing strategic trade and brand marketing initiatives across the Category
  • Delivering the annual Customer / Category Planning process, ensuring that all organizational requirements are met from a timing and data integrity standpoint
  • Managing workflow and information between Category and Field Sales
  • Coordinating the new product development process
  • Collaborating with Sales to develop profitable Trade Spending plans
  • Ensuring DSMPs are accurate and deployed
  • Developing deployment materials for the Sales Playbook
Skills and Competencies
  • On Pace to Achieve Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business / Analytics / Communications Majors preferred
  • Strong Computer Literacy (Microsoft Platform and analytic tools)
  • Developed Communication Skills
  • Action Oriented with Time Management capabilities
