Summary of Role:

This position will report to Director, Supplier Management as part of the EIS Strategy & Transformation organization. This position will be responsible for overall supplier governance & relationships for IT suppliers in support of Enterprise Infrastructure Services delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor supplier performance, manage relationship and financial/risk to assigned suppliers by applying processes of the Supplier Management and Governance framework
  • Demonstrate effective supplier delivery by developing and using KPIs/performance metrics
  • Responsible for ensuring current Governance processes are properly implemented by working with Governance Council to provide guidance and insight into performance expectations and provide constructive and actionable feedback
  • Benchmark with stakeholders in peer organizations and other operational areas to improve supplier performance, customer experience and affordability in order to drive continual improvement
  • Perform supplier health reviews and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies
  • Strive to attain additional value for the company by emphasizing supplier innovation above and beyond contractual terms
  • Maintain complete lifecycle history including performance, metrics and issues for assigned vendors
  • Collaborate on the improvement of the Supplier Management framework, adapting to organizational changes
  • Other tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills; highly collaborative working style, strong interpersonal and relationship building capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership with organizational presence, authority & responsibility to set priorities, track & drive execution. Previous experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Development of Supplier Segmentation, balanced scorecard and survey tools
  • Innovative problem-solving skills to dissect & determine root causes of problems & implement solutions
  • Excellent influence & negotiation skills; ability to facilitate discussions around complex technology issues & bring them to resolution
  • Foundational understanding of ITIL4 framework

Experience:

  • Experience in building & managing Global Supplier Management processes & best practices.
  • Deep subject matter expert in Supplier Contracts, Performance, Relationship & Risk management.
  • Role requires a deep understanding of supplier governance, stakeholder management and compliance

Education:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 8 years experience

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
