Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will report directly to the Director of FP&A.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation, analysis and completion of actual, budgeted and forecasted financial statements and presentations
• Work with Lead Financial Analysts to track and plan functional and corporate cost budgets and present to respective functional leads
• Maintain financial tools and reports used for results, planning and analysis
• Creates and maintains financial projects in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Support implementations of ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
• Interface with Accounting and Government Compliance functions to support monthly closings, audits and forward pricing rates
• Provide input to process implementations and improvements to enable more efficient and insightful planning and analysis
• Support the FP&A Lead Financial Analysts for any other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• MBA or MS degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiar with US GAAP, IFRS and other general accounting rules and principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to learn quickly and desire to improve processes
