Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Associate Manager, Marketing- Biosimilars role will make an impact:

Assist the development and implementation of commercial marketing activities, including but not limited to:New product launches and management of new and existing marketing materials, Customer marketing programs (GPOs, Payers), Advisory board management for marketing insight, Field Force engagement and support.

Work closely with Marketing and Senior Marketing Managers to assist in developing marketing strategies and execute promotional campaigns and tactics.

Supports in-house and external agencies and stakeholders by analyzing customer and marketing research materials, assessing the impact of marketing programs, and improving/developing innovative campaigns to drive brand recognition and growth.

Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, regulatory, medical, commercial development, pricing, portfolio development, finance, marketing teams and COE, national accounts/managed markets/HCP sales teams to effectively execute marketing tactics.

Work closely with external stakeholders to manage new project workflow: Legal Contract Management (LCM), SOW submission, contract review, etc.

Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support regional and national conventions to help product awareness and growth.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
-
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-7 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Experience in marketing, sales, or a combination of both is required and 2-3 years of professional working experience within the healthcare industry or an agency supporting the healthcare industry. Oncology and biosimilar experience is preferred.

Must possess knowledge of executing product-level and portfolio-level management tactics within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or hospital industry. Must understand the rules and regulatory guardrails that govern commercial activities within the pharmaceutical industry.

Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts. Ability to present to a group of departments.

Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.

Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.

Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping. Periodic travel is required, travel and field visits are required (30%).

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
This position is an exciting opportunity that is currently part of Viatris supporting our biosimilars business, but will move to Biocon Biologics. Viatris contributed its biosimilars portfolio and related commercial and operational capabilities to Biocon Biologics, effective November 29, 2022. It is anticipated that this role will transfer to Biocon within 24 months of the date of close.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $124,000.
