Associate Manager Product Management - Checkout & Omnichannel Job at ANN Corporate
The Associate Product manager checkout and Omnichannel is responsible for assisting in the development of the strategic evolution of the AnnTaylor.com and LOFT.com websites.
This person will support the Product Management team in developing our checkout and omni-channel roadmap, focusing on delivering secure experience for our clients.
Acting as an essential member of a multi-functional team, this role will support translating client’s needs into solution designs, providing product direction, define detailed requirements, work with our UX team to provide prototypes, and work side by side with our development and testing teams to ensure the product and features are delivered as planned.
This person will be highly analytical and will be responsible for analyzing e-commerce reporting, assessing business impact of e-commerce enhancements, interpreting results from A/B tests, and gathering qualitative insights from user testing and customer feedback.
This position will report directly to our E-commerce Product Manager, Checkout & Omnichannel.
Responsibilities
Acts as a client advocate, ensuring the best possible digital client experience
Support the Product Managers in working with cross-functional business partners and teams to identify new feature sets or technology and assist in developing business plans to achieve goals
Translate customer and internal-user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and deep understanding of the payments, fraud & omnichannel landscape
Uncover potential opportunities with payments or Omni solution; forecast sales and associated costs; measure the performance and effectiveness of payment and fraud programs
Assist in the operations of the ongoing e-commerce product roadmap, including the management of timelines and communication of scope to stakeholders
Continuously research our competitive set and broader digital retail landscape trends to identify new business opportunities for the Product Management team to pursue
Support Product Managers in the development of key business documents such as UX comps, detailed functional specifications, business rules, use cases, acceptance criteria and user flows.
Own, develop and analyze recurring e-commerce reporting and hind sighting for the Product Management team and our stakeholders
Aid in the management of external vendors in the e-commerce space and assist in the process of procuring and testing new vendor technology
Assist in running cross-functional Product Management meetings including agenda-creation, meeting recaps and follow-ups
Requirements
BA/BS degree in a related field of study, required
1-3 years of experience as part of a product management team on the Ecommerce digital space
Previous retail or e-commerce experience
Experience working with developers following Agile methodologies
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
Prior experience with e-commerce analytics like Adobe analytics tools
Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data and can effectively communicate insights with stakeholders who may have little understanding of subject matter
Able to proactively problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Eager to learn and comfortable undertaking new challenges
Passionate about the digital, retail, ecommerce space and of course, our client
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Willing to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including Development and QA, Marketing, Merchandising, Procurement, Finance, CRM, Client Insights, etc.
Experience working in an Agile framework and/or in Jira a plus
Experience with A/B testing, Usability Testing, User Experience a plus
The target salary for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000.
Actual compensation within that range is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and other job-related factors.
