AT A GLANCE:

Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Visual Operations Supervisor to join our team! This candidate will be responsible for the leadership and operational function of the Visual Impact Team. This person will be tasked with growing and supporting a team of 5-8 associates in the Raleigh Area.

DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:

• Hire, direct and manage Visual Impact Associates. Train the following operational duties, product receiving, barcoding process, damage review process
• Assist VM/VIM with markdown tagging
• Assist VM/VIM or Retail with cycle count/inventory research and questions
• Assist Visual Impact department with store refreshes, and new store openings
• Manage VIA payroll and time and attendance, schedule, and backfill for other Memory Makers on PTO
• Communicate expectations and set goals for individuals and team
• Ensure tasks/floor moves are completed within the allotted time to meet departmental goals
• Monitor safety through behavioral awareness and best practice procedures
• All other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• A minimum of 2 years of operation or visual experience in the Furniture Industry highly preferred
• Ability to create and maintain consistent visual and merchandise presentations within their area of responsibility in accordance with the company standards manuals.
• Be able to follow verbal and written direction from the Regional Visual Merchandiser and implement the directive with minimal supervision.
• This role does require reliable transportation to travel within area of responsibility, as well as assist other Designers when needed.
• Strong cognitive skills required; including the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and be highly productive without needing much supervision.
• Ability to work independently, have a strong sense of work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication skills, and solid customer service skills.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:

• This position is very physical. 50% of time is spent in the Warehouse assisting with opening & assembling accessories. The other 50% is spent hands-on performing design work (hanging wall art, merchandising, designing rooms, etc.) on the showroom floor.
• Must be able to lift and move furniture of 50lbs or more within the store, as well as have excellent mobility (bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, pushing, etc.)

• Salary Rate of $45,000/year. Paid Weekly.
