Association Executive (Glenwood Springs, CO)

Glenwood Springs Association of Realtors® (GSAR Website) is seeking an Association Executive. The Association Executive will be responsible for partnering with the Board of Director to ensure that the Association is serving their Members and promoting the value of being a REALTOR® by providing resources, cultivating leadership, maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism, being a legislative force, and advocating for the protection and promotion of private property rights and members’ ability to serve the public.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Association Staff

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven effective management of Staff and Volunteers.
  • Ability to develop strategies and goals that are in-line with the Associations’ mission.
  • Effective communicator and skilled at promoting and marketing an organization’s services.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to establish long lasting relationships with Members.
  • Excellent writing skills and proven minute and report writing abilities.
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback objectively and concisely.
  • Ability to effectively deliver or present information and respond to questions from groups.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and professional standards and the public policy dimension of the Association.
  • Able to deal with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to react with tact and professionalism when placed under pressure or stress.
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to attend state and national meetings.
  • Knowledge of administrative policies, practices, and procedures.

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and meeting annual budget targets.
  • Proficient user of Internet, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications and/or Google applications.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Salary and Benefits: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 depending on experience. Health Insurance Allowance, Paid Time Off, Ten
Paid Holidays, Simple IRA, and Professional Development.

A background check will be required of final candidates.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
