Auto Bag Operator Job at U.S. SILICA
- Must be knowledgeable of product sampling plans.
- Must be able to program the in line bag printer.
- Must be able to operate a stretch-wrap machine.
- Must be able to complete all quality control charts.
- Must prevent contamination of feed products with activated adsorbents and catalysts.
- Must understand the use of PPE.
- Must know the location of all pertinent electrical disconnects and completely understands the Lock Out/Tag Out procedure.
- Must be able to complete all down time tracking forms.
- Must be able to operate a fork truck.
- Must be knowledgeable of the location and use of safety showers and fire extinguishers in the area.
- Must keep work area clear and clean of all trash, debris and excess clay spillage.
- Possesses a thorough understanding both of job related safety hazards, safe lifting techniques and operating procedures of the forklift and properly fill out safety inspections for forklifts as per Mobile Equipment Inspection Form.
- Must follow all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications.
- Responsible to meet site safety requirements and quality and food/feed safety requirements.
- Other similar duties, as assigned.
Work environment is dusty, dirty, and loud. Enviornment is not temp controlled and could be extremely cold or extrmemly hot.
