Looking for skilled, self motivated Automotive Body/Paint with a primary focus on light to medium repairs, metal pulling and straightening, automotive painting w/single and two stage PPG products, paint prepping. This shop is one of our long standing embedded shops working along side a single customer, providing quality, fast paced paint and repairs. We play an essential role in the day to day operations of the Trucking Industry. Additional opportunity for growth in the future as we expand in the Dallas market and Surge Team could be available. We are a different kind of National Automotive Repair shop in the heavy duty fleet sector with an aggressive growth plan. We specialize in lean, quality, fast paced, automotive body repairs on Heavy Duty Fleet Vehicles. All work is light to medium (Non-Structural). We use only the best and highest quality materials (PPG, Single-stage, Base-Clear) with the sole purpose of keeping the fleet up and running. We are looking for Experienced Auto Body technicians , and Body Combo Technicians to join our unique and growing business. Applicants who are Self Motivated with Experience are desired. This is a Combo automotive Body and Paint Position, combo techs are highly required but qualified applicants with some skills in both will be considered. Applicants without Auto Body Paint Experience, will be rejected.

Job Responsibilities

• Light to Medium (Non-Structural) Automotive Repairs on different types of surfaces.
• Single Stage Auto Body Painting, Prepping, and Buffing.
• Sand, Mask, Blend, and Polish finish to match surrounding areas.
• Auto Body Repairs to OEM standards.
• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs require.
• No welding experience needed.

Qualifications

• Combination Automotive Body and Paint, Auto Body Repair, or Auto Painter
• Must have existing Automotive Body Shop experience 5 years.
• Must be able to work in team environment.
• Strong Communication skills and ability to work with single customer on an ongoing basis.
• Problem solving and adaptability needed.
• Good Quality work and ability to be coached and developed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be on your feet walking and standing throughout the day
• Frequently required to kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Exposure to outside environment and conditions including temperatures in the highs and lows, and other weather conditions will occur.
• Dexterity, the ability to handle tasks with repetitive motion, and the ability to lift heavy objects on occasion are required.
• Respirators and other protective equipment must be worn.
• Some exposure to harmful fumes and chemicals may occur.
