We are looking to add a Metal Technician to our Body Shop team in Wahoo, Nebraska. Responsibilities and Duties of a Body Shop Technician:

• Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner, following dealership and manufacturer standards;
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions;
• Repair full-frame vehicles and uni-body structural damage;
• Remove, repair and replace body panels;
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces;
• Prime repaired surfaces using paint spray gun equipment as required;
• Ability to repair other parts of vehicles which include but aren’t limited to fiberglass, plastics, welding, sheet metal bonding, mechanical and painting;
• Inspect repaired vehicles and make sure they meet dealership quality standards;
• Maintain a clean work environment and keep track of company tools;

Experience and skill requirements for Body Shop Technician:

• MUST have a minimum of 2 years of body shop experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Professional oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a highly energized, fast-paced, adaptive environment.

Physical and work schedule requirements:

• Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
• Punctual attendance.
• Flexible schedule with some Saturdays required.
• Ability to work with your hands and arms on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• All positions require a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
