Automation Tester (Comprehensive Child Welfare Systems - CCWIS)

Annexa Inc. is currently supporting DC's Department of Child and Family Services implementation of a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System. We are looking to expand our team in support of the Districts goals of developing a more data centric, user friendly, and highly efficient application for the agency. We are currently looking for a highly experienced Child Welfare Information System Automation Tester with Subject Matter Expertise in the Child Welfare domain. The Automation Tester (CCWIS) is responsible for providing automation testing expertise to inform other project activities including daily QA / Test operations.

Specific Duties:

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Reporting and documenting technical issues
• Collaborate with Engineers to develop effective strategies and Software Development
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Automation Experience candidates who leveraged programming skills such as Python, VBA programming etc. to implement Automation Solutions to the clients. The automation has helped clients realize benefits productivity gains.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years testing and QA experience
• 3+ years’ experience QA testing with Microsoft Dynamics CRP and PowerPlatform

Desired Skills:

• Should have solid knowledge of XML, Java Script, service (SOAP/REST) concepts.
• Proficient in developing automated testing for Microsoft Dynamics CRP
• Experience with SQL and Oracle
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr, Selenium)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
