Robert Horne Ford has an Immediate Opportunity for a Lube Express Technician. We are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a demanding and fast paced environment. The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing minor repairs and inspections on vehicles in a quick thorough manner, as assigned; and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and standards.

The Express Lube Technician is also responsible for communicating with the management team, service consultant and the guest at all points of service repair.

This is a Full Time Position- Pay :$15.00 an Hour with Growth opportunity!

This is a full time position, our Express Lube Technicians get to work with an amazing team and by working for Robert Horne Ford, and they are surrounded by the best.

Responsibilities:

• Performing oil changes on guest vehicles
• Inspecting oil, cabin, air filters, and vehicle fluid levels and replaces or replenishes as necessary
• Checks tire pressures and adds air, as needed
• Rotates tires and inspects brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
• Performs a thorough check of guests vehicles, refers needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Consultant
• Documents all work performed on repair order and inspection sheet
• Operates and maintains in good condition all lubrication equipment
• Assists the service department as needed
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Maintains assigned workspace organized and clean
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; Automotive Program/School preferred
• A minimum of one (1) year automotive repair experience, desired; or a combination of education and experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance required
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
• * Must have great attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend instructions.*
• Valid Arizona drivers license and an acceptable driving record are required
