We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate parts counter position. As a parts counter specialist you will be responsiable for assisting retail customer, service department personnel, and wholesale customers with the lookup, delivery, and sales of Nissan automotive parts

Job Description

Colonial Nissan is looking to add an Automotive Parts Counterperson/Parts Salesman. This is an excellent opportunity for someone working in an aftermarket situation who is looking for an opportunity to move up to the dealership environment, or for someone with dealership experience who can join us and help increase our parts and service sales. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train any candidate who is a good fit for Colonial Nissan..

Responsibilities

• Selling parts retail and wholesale to all available customers over the counter, through the service department, and over the telephone.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure the customer is exposed to the full product line
• Identify parts utilizing electronic, internet based parts catalogues
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• Identify parts availability, locate, and submit orders for any parts not in stock to fulfill orders in quickest way possible
• Constant tracking of all parts orders
• Contribute to top productivity and efficiency in the shop through quick location of needed parts
• Monitor and maintain accurate parts inventory and stocking levels as defined by manager
• Generating new business through product offerings and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sales is preferred
• Must have ability to learn and use multiple internet based parts catalogs
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and complete with accuracy and efficiency
• Dealer track DMS system
• Highly self-motivated with the desire to contribute to business growth
• Valid Driver’s License
